Who We Are

We, New Church of the Nazarene, are a Haitian-American Christian Church lead by our amazing Pastor Dorsainvil. New Church of the Nazarene exists to promote the Kingdom of God and to create a stronger relationship with our Savior Christ Jesus.

OUR PURPOSE:

We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.



We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.


We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.


We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.


We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.


We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.


We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.


We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

OUR MISSIon

In our worship services, we celebrate God's presence and aim to express God's love. Through the interior presence of the Holy Spirit, we wish to experience God's grace and power in all of our interactions and circumstances. As we aim to be culturally relevant and socially sensitive in bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to our world, every member is a minister, and every duty is significant. Inspirational singing, Bible teaching and preaching, social companionship, group prayer, participation in holy communion, testimonials of God's faithfulness, and much more define Sunday worship events. Wednesday nights are aimed to train people of all ages to become more Christlike.

    At New Church of the Nazarene, we are committed to sharing the love of God. We strive to live our lives as examples of God's grace and love through loving and serving with our Nazarene church. When you join us for worship, you can expect to engage with a church family that will encourage and equip you to grow in your faith. There is a place for you here!


    As a church congregation we believe we are saved from our sins by God's grace alone, through faith alone, on the basis of Scripture alone. We do not require the intervention of priests to seek God’s grace or forgiveness. This is the difference of the Nazarene church to other demonimations.
